Kentish Bus was a former bus operator based serving southeast London and Kent.
1986-1987[]

National Bus Company subsidiary London Country was split into four quadrants in 1986 in preparation for privatisation.
1987-1998[]

London Country South East was renamed Kentish Bus in 1987 and was privatised the following year having been sold to Proudmutual. In 1994 the company was taken over by British Bus which itself was later taken over by the Cowie Group (renamed Arriva in 1997). Arriva restructured its subsidiaries in 1998 with Kentish Bus split between Arriva Kent Thameside and Arriva Kent & Sussex.
