The company was sold in 2006 to British private equity group Lion Capital LLP.
In 2010, Diamond Foods acquired Kettle Foods. Snyder’s-Lance bought Diamond Foods in 2016, which was in turn bought by Campbell Soup Company in 2018, thus bringing Kettle Chips under the Campbell snacks portfolio.
In 2016, the wordmark was softened, reducing the sharp edges and scratchy appearance of the iconic ‘woodcut’ logo for Europe. Also removed 'chips' as part of the brand name and elevated ‘dude’ (Kettle’s iconic mascot) to a more central position on top of the logo.
In 2019, Campbell agreed to sell the European Kettle Chips business to Valeo Foods Group.
