KiKA (formerly known as "Der Kinderkanal") is the German children's television network run by ARD and ZDF. It is focused on children's programming for children and young adults.

In an effort to be more appealing to older children, Der Kinderkanal changed its name to KI.KA on 1 May 2000. The new look was created by the Dutch agency N+t vision on screen.
