Kyivstar is the largest mobile operator in Ukraine by subscribers. It is a subsidiary of VEON, in which Telenor owns a 14.8% stake; Telenor owned a larger stake (43%) directly in Kyivstar until 2017.
1994–2007[]
In 1994 Igor Lytovchenko founded a mobile operator called Kyivstar[1]. The Kyivstar GSM registred in 1997[2], since the company was a subsidiary of VimpelCom (now VEON), so their logos were similar.
2007–2015[]
2007–2012[]
In 2007 Kyivstar rebranded. The star was altered a bit and became 3D. That year Kyivstar became the most expansive brand of Ukraine[3].
2012–2015[]
In 2012 logo was modified. The star was placed in a square with rounded corners.
2015–present[]

In 28 May 2015, Kyivstar rebranded again along with the introduction of new 3G tariffs, with the new logo made by Saffron[4].
