Líder Mercado was a format of Líder supermarkets that focused on upper-class neighborhoods. It opened its first on July 2001 at Puente Nuevo (La Dehesa).
2001-2003[]
On 2003 Líder Mercado merged with traditional Líder hypermarkets, dropping the "Mercado" name on their brand and became simply Líder.
