LG Corporation is a South Korean conglomerate (chaebol) best known for its subsidiary, LG Electronics, that manufactures consumer electronics. Besides this, it has several other subsidiaries including LG Chem, LG Display, and the LG U+ mobile network operator. It is one of two major South Korean electronics manufacturers, along with Samsung. Previously known as Lucky-Goldstar, it adopted its current name in 1995.

In 2008, the corporate font was changed to Bryant, and a glossy effect was applied to the logo.
