This article is about the former Chilean adaptation of Wheel of Fortune. For other uses, see La Rueda de la Fortuna.
La Rueda de la Fortuna was a Chilean adaptation of Wheel of Fortune. It was produced by Canal 13 in 1979, and it was one of the first international adaptations of the then 4-year-old game show format. It was recorded in Estudios KV 1850, which later became famous for producing the program Éxito in the same channel.

Later adaptations/broadcasts in Chile[]
After the end of La Rueda de la Fortuna, a segment inspired by Wheel of Fortune became part of the variety show Sábado Gigante. The segment lasted through the 1980s. In 2018, Canal 13 made a second program adaptation of Wheel of Fortune, under the name La Rueda de la Suerte. During this time, cable TV channel Rec TV (operated by Canal 13 itself) began rebroadcasting the original La Rueda de la Fortuna.
