On June 30, 2008, Lantic Sugar merged with Rogers Sugar to form Lantic Inc., but Lantic continues to exist as a brand of sugar under Lantic Inc. along with the Rogers sugar brand. The Lantic brand is used in Eastern Canada while the Rogers brand is used in Western Canada.
