The Leapster was introduced by LeapFrog on October 7, 2003. On 2004, it introduced Leapster L-Max, another version of Leapster. The console stopped making games on 2009 in prior to the Leapster 2, which was introduced on 2007 for the console and 2008 for the games. Despite that, this and the L-Max was discontinued on 2014.
