1940s - 1970s
Lewis's Department Stores had a generally similar logo throughout the 1940's and the 1950's. Consisting of capital letters. Selfridges (Which was owned by Lewis's at this time). Was given a similar logo. The logo was used in all the stores, except a variant was used in Lewis's Royal Polytechnic in Glasgow.
1970s -1986

Lewis's had changed the logo due to being taken over by Sears.
1986 -1995
In 1986 it was decided a reorganisation of Lewis's/Selfridges Ltd was needed and as such the New Lewis's was born. There was also the short lived Lewis's Supacentre Hypermarket (A branch was located in Ellesmere Port). In 1991 the Lewis's arm of the Sears business was placed in administration and five branches were bought out by Owen Owen PLC. Owen Owen continued using this logo, but dropped "The New" prefix.
1996 - 2007

Lewis's logo closely followed the original, but at various times had "Owen Owen" written underneath. Variants were used on different stores. Stores were closed (Manchester in 2002), but the Liverpool Lewis's store remained.
2007 - 2010
Owen Owen went into administration in 2007 but was bought out by Vergo Retail Ltd. The logo was redone to state the store was on Liverpool's Ranelagh Street.
2011-Now

The brand was bought out by Lewis's Home Retail Ltd, who now own T J Hughes. They intend to reopen a Lewis's Home store in Bury, which will carry the above branding.
