In 1990, the final version of the emblem logo was introduced to the public. The logo is a redesign of the famous-northern lights logo but added in with a snow flurry.

In 1991, the mascots were introduced. The mascots were named Håkon and Kristin. They were both named after Håkon IV, the King of Norway from 1217 to 1263 and his aunt, Princess Kristin Sverisdottir. Both mascots were designed by Kari and Werner Grossman.
