Despite being known as 'The Imps' as early as the 1910's, Lincoln City only introduced a logo featuring the Lincoln Imp in 1971.
1982–1985[]
Lincoln City introduced a cartoon version of the Imp in 1982.
1985–1990[]
The letters 'L.C.F.C' were added to the Imp.
1990–1993[]
'Lincoln City Football Club' was added in a circle around the Imp.
1993–1999[]
Lincoln City abandoned the Imp in favour of the traditional coat of arms in 1993.

2001–2014[]
The Imp was reintroduced in place of the fleur-de-lis in 2001.

A new logo was introduced on April 2, 2014.[1]

Lincoln City introduced a modernized version of their 1980's logo on December 9, 2023.
