Welcome to Logopedia's Requests for adminship. If you are considering requesting to become an administrator, you must read the Note below. Please see the Instructions section for guidance on how to request. Note to Requesters Becoming an administrator is a big responsibility. Administrators work very hard to maintain Logopedia and keep it running. This is not something that is handed out frequently or without thought. Only the most trustworthy, active, and knowledgeable users are granted adminship. For more insight into what this means and what it requires, please continue reading. Before you continue, please read the entirety of the administrators page. You must know the ins and outs of being an administrator before requesting to be one. Administrators have a lot of power, and thereby have significant responsibility. If you do not think you will be able to properly handle that power and make responsible decisions, this is not for you. I know I can handle being an administrator. What are the requirements to becoming one? While bureaucrats do have some flexibility in deciding who becomes an administrator, there are a set of base guidelines that they look for in reviewing requests: User is able to communicate in a near-native fluency of English. User has been editing on Logopedia for at least one full year. User has not been blocked within the past year of editing. Users who were blocked by hackers, administrator abuse, or blocked for only one day will not have their blocks count as an offense. User has not previously requested for adminship within the past 6 months. User has proven knowledge of Logopedia and its policies. This means that they follow editing guidelines, they fix and improve pages, they upload high quality logos and follow copyright rules, etc. User is active in fighting vandalism, sockpuppetry, and policy-breakers. This means that their editing history provides evidence of assisting administrators (i.e. editing talk pages of admins to alert them of destructive users), reporting users, and undoing/rollbacking poor or nonconstructive edits. User is an autoconfirmed, active, constructive editor. If you are applying here, you must have at least 1000+ edits. I satisfy (or mostly satisfy) all of the above requirements. What now? Remember that when you become an administrator, you are expected to increase in activity and effectiveness. If you are granted adminship, you are expected to edit often and use your powers responsibly. You are expected to continue doing all of the above and more. This includes logging-on daily, responding to user reports, responding to messages or questions on your talk page, monitoring the recent changes, participating in wiki discussions, maintaining the front/Logopedia/MediaWiki pages, joining the administrator Discord chat room, and constructively utilizing administrator abilities. If your request is approved and you are inactive or caught abusing your powers, bureaucrats and/or Wikia staff members reserve the right to remove your rights and punish you accordingly. I am prepared to do everything you just listed and more. If you truly believe you are a fit to become an administrator, then we wish you luck! Be aware of how the requesting process works. This is a voting process. All users are permitted to vote, whether or not they are an administrator. They will either support, oppose, or comment. After a request is published, Logopedia editors have 2 months to vote. After the 2 months are up, a bureaucrat will review the votes and make a decision. If 2 months are up and a bureaucrat has not responded to a request, feel free to notify a bureaucrat on their talk page. You are not permitted whatsoever to edit in the support or oppose sections. You may add or reply to comments, but you may not modify or remove others' comments. If you are caught trying to influence editors to vote or change their vote, your request will be disqualified. Cheating, incivility, and harassment is prohibited. The Instructions section below will guide you on how to publish a request. Hello to all administrators and users of Logopedia! I made this request for administration, because (in addition to loving this wiki) I want to help other administrators to improve Logopedia in all possible ways, such as: Correcting errors that need to be corrected; Blocking (or not) the reported users or telling them what they have to do (or not)...And other things like that. Basically I want to help you to contribute to keep this wiki in order, just as you do. I really admire the fact that so few people can manage to maintain a powerful wiki like this one, and ever since I started to realize the hard work that administrators have to keep this wiki impeccable, I wanted to become one of you...I know that in the past I made some mistakes that I shouldn't have done, but when I make mistakes, I always learn something new to later I can avoid making mistakes again. And also, as you may have noticed by this text, I'm not the best at speaker/writer in English, but I'm also trying to improve it. Also, although this is a personal point of view, I really think you should change the font you are using in your signature as I strongly dislike it and  (I'm not trying to be rude or anything). I feel like this position is good, I have had plenty of experience with reporting users on this wiki, and I feel like that has made me worthy enough to earn this position, I would also like to mention that I applied in October (which was a mistake) and this is my second application. • While you have contributed quite a bit here over the last year, I am afraid I have to oppose. I realize you have helped us quite a bit, but you come across as too eager to become an admin. You need to be more humble about it, and I apologize but I really do not see that in you. Plus, you state on your user page how many wikis you are an admin for, and it is quite a lot. • I'm also opposing your request. Your editing activities on Logopedia have went down over the past year, and I think it's because you're involved with so many different wikis per your user page. You've also expressed your desire to try to get as many user rights on as many wikis as possible. To prove my point, you attempted to request admin rights on a wiki that barely has any activity at all. Fandom staff has expressed concern that you're adopting too many wikis and not taking time to care for the wikis in which you already have admin rights. Other editors have expressed similar concerns. UpnCbs, I see your intentions very clearly. You have a goal of collecting user rights like they're hats and you have nothing to show for them. You should not have admin rights. • Sorry but I will have to change my comment to oppose as I agree with MetroPortlandGeek, as you don't seem to spend as much time at Logopedia compared to other wikis and I'm not sure if you would be dedicated enough or have the time to contribute often at both, as really I think admins should contribute to Logopedia nearly every day. However, I see that you have improved this wiki a lot and I am very proud of your edits so don't get discouraged! I feel like you're one of these editors who will get bored of the rights and edit here less and less after a few months. Hope you understand.

I have been thinking about becoming an admin for a while now and I think I meet all the requirements. I am active nearly every day and report vandals, sockpuppets ect. when I come across them. I also do a lot of cleanup, add catagories and add new logos to pages. If I were to become an administrator, I would become more active in reporting and blocking users. This was my first signature designed by me. I decided to use my logo and add a button for my contributions. This one was only used one time. At that time I barely understood source code. I still didn't know how to sign and I used to wrote all the source code for my signature instead of using "~~~~".

On August 9, 2020, MetroPortlandGeek warned me on my message wall that I should put the date at the end of the signature and explained that I should use the four tildes. On that day, I came to understand how signatures work on wikis and decided to recreate mine. I added a link to the editcount page (which no longer exists) and modified some letters replacing them with Greek and Russian characters, because I know these alphabets.

On August 12, 2020, I made my successful request for adminiship and TeNNiS-bAll-2835 supported me, but he said "I really think you should change the font you are using in your signature as I strongly dislike it" and I went back to using Latin letters in my signature. But I kept the Greek kappa in the word "talk"

In this new subscription, I wanted to give it a more modern style, using buttons instead of links. I know that the button with the word "Editions" is wrong and that it should say "Edits", but I made that mistake because in Portuguese the word "Edições" has the meaning of that two words. Now I know what is the correct word.

On October 13th, Fandom released the UCP update and the editcount page stopped to exist, but the social activity page was created. Therefore, I replaced the "All Editions" button with the "Activity" button.

In 2021, I decided to replace the WXDS logo with the logo of WXDS Productions - on Logopedia. So I gave to my signature a more simple and bluish style.

After the bluish "rebrand" of my signature I noticed that the size was still too big in my oppinion, so I redesigned the signature: I replaced the words with symbols, I gave a smaller size to the first button and to the last button fit with the rest of the bar design, I turn its size to the same as the other buttons.

My tentative to create a small signature failed, so I recreated an even more minimalistic signature. This was the Design I liked the most in 2021.

In 2022, with my logo update, I decided to create a new signature with a flat design and with a button with my Instagram link. The bluish design did not match the new design of my user page and logo, so I didn't get to use this signature.

After some changes, I decided to use the colors Black, Yellow, Green, Blue and Magenta so that the signature would fit my identity design. That was the first official change of my signature in 2022.
