BEFORE REPORTING, PLEASE READ THE POLICY FIRST. THANK YOU!

This is the page for reporting users violating the Logopedia Policy. Use the following code to report users. Replace anything in bold:

{{Report|User (Just type username, not "User:")|What did they do? Write it here.}}

NOTE: In the "User" space, type the user's name who made the violation, not your username.

Place the code below the heading, "Current reports". Make sure you fill in each field (bolded areas in code), and insert your signature (using ~~~~) in the last field. Then publish it and wait for an administrator to respond to your report. Once answered, your report will be moved to the "Answered reports" section. They will say what action they have taken (if any) below your report.

Example of template

This example uses the user "User".

Policy violations: Vandalism

Code used: {{Report|User|Vandalism}}

How to comment on a report

Users can comment on a current report to add more information or constructively contest a current report. Comments that violate Wikia or Logopedia Policy will result in the user who commented being blocked, and an administrator removing your comment. Please only add constructive comments. Comments should only be added to current reports, not answered reports. Comments must be added using the Comment template, as demonstrated in the example below.

Policy violations: Vandalism
Comment Comment. I think the user's edits were accidental, they shouldn't be blocked.

The code used for the above Comment template: {{Comment|I think the user's edits were accidental, they shouldn't be blocked.}}

Users do not have to be administrators in order to add comments, and the user reported can add constructive comments. Be sure to add your signature using ~~~~ in the second parameter of the template.

How to approve/reject a report (administrators only)

NOTE: Only administrators may approve or reject a report.

Administrators can either approve or reject a report. To approve a report, you must use the Approved template. Place the template directly below the report, like below.

Policy violations: Vandalism
Accepted Approved. User blocked for 2 months.

For rejecting the report, the Rejected template should be used. Formatting is exactly the same for rejecting as it is for approving.

Policy violations: Vandalism
Rejected Rejected. No evidence of vandalism found.

Code used for Approved template: {{Approved|User blocked for 2 months.}}
Code used for Rejected template: {{Rejected|No evidence of vandalism found.}}

Once you have responded to the report, move it (along with your response) to the top of the "Answered reports" section. Make sure to include your signature within the second parameter of the template. If you've approved the report, please be sure to visit the user in question's talk page and leave a warning or a block notice.
