Until 1972, Lojas Americanas did not have a definitive logo, only the text "Lojas Americanas".

Despite the physical and e-commerce assets sharing the same brand name, they used to have different logos - due each one was operated by distinct companies - as the physical one was still using the all-uppercase wordmark, while the e-commerce one was all-lowercase.
After the merger of Lojas Americanas S.A. into B2W (now americanas sa), the physical Americanas stores adopted the all-lowercase logo of their online counterpart.
