Version 10.04 Lucid Lynx[]
The first version of Lubuntu was released on May 2, 2010 with this logo. Logo itself was used since first alpha released in December 2009.
2010–2018[]
Versions 10.10 Maverick Meerkat–18.04 Bionic Beaver[]
The new logo was released alongside Lubuntu Maverick Meerkat (10.10). It puts the graphical part of the previous logo in a circle, and changes the typeface to be similar to main Ubuntu release.
2018–present[]
Versions 18.10 Cosmic Cuttlefish–present[]
The new logo was released changing shape of letter "l" as well as the graphical part of the previous logo in a circle representing Lubuntu's switch from using LXDE to LXQt.
