Lumière Movies

Lumière Movies, originally NDTV Lumière, was an international movie channel in India, similar to UTV World Movies, showing foreign-language films with English subtitles. It was launched in January 2008 as a joint venture between NDTV and Turner India; NDTV exited the joint venture in 2010.

Lumière Movies closed down in July 2012 due to low viewership.

In 2010 Turner took complete control of Imagine Showbiz, NDTV Imagine and NDTV Lumière from NDTV, renaming the latter two to Imagine TV and Lumière Movies.
