Pierrot was owned by Pierrot-Friola, a division of Yoplait that owned the Pierrot ice cream brand as well as the Friola fruit brand.

Lusso Eldorado[]

1962–1995[]

Lusso Eldorado

In 1962, Unilever started an ice cream brand in Switzerland, called Lusso Eldorado. The Heartbrand logo design of the time was used: five vertical red bars with the company name in a white oval in the middle.

Pierrot-Lusso[]

1996–1998[]

Pierret-Lusso 1996

In 1995, Unilever's Lusso Eldorado merged with Yoplait's Pierrot-Friola to form Pierrot Lusso. Lusso Eldorado's logo was updated to reflect this: "Pierrot" was added to the logo, the font for "Lusso" changed, and the horizontal line was removed. "Eldorado" was also removed from the company name entirely. This logo was short-lived, as Unilever updated the Heartbrand logo design in 1998.

In 2003, Yoplait ended their partnership with Unilever. Because of this, the Pierrot brand was retired, and the company name was shortened to just "Lusso". The Heartbrand logo design was also updated in 2003.
