Movie Magic 2 was launched in 1995 along with M-Net Movies 1 right after the launch of DStv.

In 2005, Movie Magic 2 was renamed as M-Net Movies 2.

This logo was updated the following year owing to the re-branding of the M-Net logo in line with the 2010 logo until its discontinuation in 2012.

M-Net Movies Action+ was reverted back to the original name after nearly 8 years.
