M1 Music One was launched in mid 1998, becoming the sister network of Pudahuel FM. In late 1998 both stations were bought by Ibero American Media Holdings.

Because the frequency with which the station was established (89.3 FM in Santiago) was actually a rental from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and the bought of Radio Oxígeno (88.5 FM in Santiago) in order to relaunch Radio Concierto, M1 Music One was closed at the midnight on January 1, 2001.
