1995-1998
MSN made its debut with the release of Windows 95. MSN wasn't designed to give full internet access, so a year later Microsoft released the Internet Explorer web browser.
1998-2010

This logo was only used for MSN Gaming Zone from 1998-2000.

This logo was a 3-D ish and 2-D ish logo used from February, 2004 - September, 2006. Around the time when Windows Live Search was replacing MSN Search.
Happy new Years! [2009]
This is the longest-used and arguably most well-known MSN logo. Due to its wide use from 2000-2010 on many of Microsoft's products, it can still be found on certain webpages on some portals or within certain software, such as MSN Explorer. This logo is still even being used on the MSN member center website using the Windows XP interface. This logo can even still be found on Ninemsn!
2010-2014/2010-present (Secondary)
Brand New rated this logo the 2nd worst of 2010, after Bing, another Microsoft product. However, this logo is still being used for Ninemsn.

MSN on November 28th, 1999 with a christmas logo. This layout was used from 1998-2001. But the logo was used from 1998-2000.
There is not that much of a difference. In February, 2000, MSN got a new logo. But this layout is still the same from 1998. This layout was used from May, 1998 - November, 2001.
This layout is a little different from the one from November, 2001 - September, 2002. The difference is that the tabs that you see have a hallow glow. This layout was used from September, 2002 - February, 2004.
