1970–1977[]
A variant from the 3rd season of The Mary Tyler Moore Show on an episode of Put on a Happy Face, featuring Moore herself replacing Mimsie, She says "That's all folks" in the style of Porky Pig from the end of the Looney Tunes cartoons from 1937 to 1946.
1977–1979[]
A variant from the 4th season of The Bob Newhart Show on an episode titled No Sale, featuring Abogast the Cat.
1979–1989[]
On The White Shadow (1978-1981), a black and white cat dribbles a basketball off both M's in the MTM logo.
On Carlton Your Doorman, the logo is already formed and slightly zoomed in to the point that the ribbon and "PRODUCTION" touch the top and bottom of the screen, respectively. Carlton's cat Ringo is seen in the MTM logo instead of Mimsie, and the circle surrounding him is redrawn in a cartoon style. As Ringo turns his head to face the camera, Carlton (voiced by Lorenzo Music) says off-screen, "C'mon, 'Meow!'" However, Ringo just sits there staring apathetically at the camera. Carlton mutters "#### cat..."
Hill Street Blues variant was also used in Nederland 2 (Now NPO 2) sign off clock ident.
1989–1990[]

1982–1992[]

On Remington Steele (1982-1987), Mimsie wears a Sherlock Holmes deerstalker hat, and meerschaum pipe in its mouth. As it begins to meow, the pipe falls out of its mouth, and lands in front of the word "PRODUCTIONS".
1983–1997[]

On Bay City Blues (1983), an animated Mimsie wears a baseball hat, and a baseball glove in her paw. She catches the baseball in the air when she meows.
A variant from original prints of the final episode of St. Elsewhere. Fans have described this variant as the saddest logo ever, due to Mimsie flatlining and dying. Mimsie eventually died in real life shortly after this episode aired, with MTM Enterprises officially ceasing all operations a decade later.
1990–1997[]
On The Steve Allen Show (1990), Mimsie wears Allen's famous eyeglasses, and declares "Schmock!" in the voice of Steve Allen.
