MTV2 2005

In 2005, MTV2 rebranded into a youth-oriented music channel for teens and young men aged 12 to 24 and introduced a new logo nicknamed "The Two-Headed Dog"; the two heads of the dog were made to represent rock and hip-hop, the two main music genres aired on the network. As a result, MTV2 is the only MTV-branded network in the United States to utilize separate branding from the main channel.[1]
