MTV 80s was launched in New Zealand on July 1, 2020, replacing MTV Classic. On October 5, 2020, it replaced VH1 Classic in Europe and Latin America. On the same day, MTV Rocks was renamed to MTV 90s. On April 28, 2022, the channel was closed down in Russia.[1] On August 1, 2023, it was launched in Australia replacing MTV Classic.

MTV 80s (UK & Ireland)

MTV 90s received a new logo on August 31, 2022. In the future, the logo of MTV 80s could change to match the UK version, using the MTV Gravity typeface.
