On June 7, 1999, M2 was renamed MTV2 Europe.[1][2]

A new look, designed by DixonBaxi was launched in September 2002.[3]

The MTV channels in the UK were relaunched again on March 1, 2010. In the process, MTV Two changed its name to MTV Rocks. The new idents for MTV Rocks were created by Post Panic in Amsterdam.[4]
