In 2004, after being used as a secondary logo for over eighty years, the red star permanently became part of the logo. This logo is basically the same, but with the red star being added, the previous logo without the red star still used alongside this logo until the redesign in August 2019.
2019–present[]
In August 2019, the Macy's wordmark became slightly bolder.
