Maestro is a chain of home improvement stores created under the name Ace Perú, a name coined by the Vurnbrand family.
The first store in this format was opened in 1994 under the name Ace Home Center.
Since 2014 it has been owned by Falabella S.A., who owns it in place of the Grupo Enfoca, owned by Jesús Zamora León, who owned the chain since 2007.
Ace Home Center[]
1994–2006[]
1994–2004[]
The first logo of the chain was the word ACE (a triangle divided diagonally into two parts, a C with a half aperture and a normal E) in red and below, the word Home Center in black.
2004–2006[]
In 2004, the main logo was added a metallic yellow sloping rectangular panel with two edges and the word MAESTRO with a custom typography made of charcoal and with some areas with dust
Maestro Ace Home Center[]
2006–2008[]
In 2006, the yellow panel logo is moved up, below and behind the logo appears a red brick wall with the Ace Home Center logo in a horizontal and white position.
Maestro Home Center[]
2008–2010[]
In 2008, only one thing was modified: the Ace's logo disappears completely.
Maestro[]
2010–2013[]
In 2010, the brick wall and the word Home Center were removed, placing a red metal wall behind the panel.
In this logo, the company is renamed Maestro.
2013–present[]
In December 2013, the Maestro logo changes completely.
The panel now has a single border instead of three, in black, the yellow part acts as a background, the length of the panel extends, and the word "MAESTRO" completely changes its typography, all behind a simplified red background.
This is the latest logo under the management of the Grupo Enfoca and the first under the management of Falabella.
Sodimac Maestro[]
2019-present[]
In 2019, a prototype merger was launched with the chain Maestro called Sodimac Maestro, which has so far its only store in Surquillo.[1]
It is not yet known whether this change will occur in all other stores.
