1993–1998[]
Logo as it appears on packaging for 1994's Revised Set. The texturing of the letters differs from the card-back logo above.
This logo is still used on the back of all Magic the Gathering cards, except for some oversized cards.
1998-1999[]
A number of minor tweaks were made, most notably the letter 'G' was widened, and the outline around the letters was thickened
1999-2017[]
Further tweaks were made a year later, where the letter 'G' was widened further and the 'C' was reshaped. The serifs and edges of all the letters are squared off, whereas previous iterations were curved.
