Magic FM is a Romanian radio station, broadcasting oldies music and adult contemporary music. It is owned by Antenna Group since 2014 and previously owned by ProSiebenSat.1 Media until 2013.

Magic FM was launched as Uni-Fun Radio on January 11, 1990. The name comes from the University of Bucharest (Uni) and Fun Radio from France (Fun).

Unifan Radio[]

On April 30, 1991, Uni-Fun Radio became Unifan Radio, after disagreements between the Romanian and French sides. It was divided into Unifan Radio (the Romanian part), and Fun Radio (the French part).

On April 30, 1992, Unifan Radio became Uniplus Radio to avoid confusion with Fun Radio.

In 2003, Uniplus Radio was bought by Romanian businessman Cristian Burci, the at-the-time owner of the Romanian television channel Prima TV. To reflect this, the station was renamed to Radio Star.
