In June 2023, Microsoft anounced that Mail, [[Calendar (Microsoft service)|Calendar]] and [[People (Windows)|People]] would be replaced by [[Microsoft Outlook|Outlook]]. Outlook would become the default mail client for Windows in 2024. The migration of users from Mail to Outlook started in June 2023.

This logo was originally designed for Windows 10X, but was only used on Windows 10 and 11.
