Martes 13 was a stellar, prime-time program created and produced by Canal 13 and sponsored by Nescafé. It aired between 1983 and 1995 and it became an emblem of the Chilean TV during the 1980s and the first half of the 1990s. It also became one of the first programs to be produced from Canal 13's Estudio 3 del Centro de Televisión de Canal 13 inaugurated alongside Martes 13.

Martes 13 ended on July 25th 1995, and was replaced by a new program called Viva el Lunes starting on October 16th that same year until 2001.
