In 1992, the Maxis arc logo was introduced.

In 2012, the logo was updated with a flipped gradient arc which fits into the letter I. The name is now written in lower-case. In 2015, Maxis' Emeryville studio shut down, but the Maxis logo remains as one of EA's 4 brands.

Despite the rebrand, it is still used in its recent games, including The Sims 4.

Maxis made a rebranding in March 2022, showcasing their new logo and their new website, This logo was hinted on The Sims 4's gallery icon, which is also a lightbulb. This is the first major facelift on Maxis identity since 1992.
