Mazhavil Manorama is a Malayalam general entertainment channel launched on 31 October 2011 by the Malayala Manorama group (named after the Malayalam newspaper of that name), It had previously launched Manorama News in 2006. Its main competitors are Asianet, Surya TV, Flowers TV and Zee Keralam (and, to a smaller extent, Amrita TV, Janam TV and Kairali TV).

HD: 2015–2017[]
Mazhavil Manorama HD was launched on 14 August 2015, a day after competitor Asianet HD, owned by Star. Asianet HD and Mazhavil Manorama HD were the first regional-language HD channels in India (i.e., except Hindi and English) to be launched by a network other than the Sun network, which had launched four HD channels in December 2011.
2017–present[]
Mazhavil Manorama rebranded on 14 April 2017 on the occasion of Vishu, the Malayalam New Year. As in 2011, the rebrand was commissioned by Red Bee Media.
