This logo was first introduced to the Caledonians when McDonald's opened its first Caledonians branch in Noumea on July 26, 1994. However, due to New Caledonia being a French territory it uses the same branding as the French branches

As part of the first redesign in decades, called 'Forever Young', the logo was redesigned.
