This logo was first introduced to Sri Lankan people when McDonald's opened its first Sri Lankan branch in Colombo on 16 October 1998.
2003–2006[]
2006–2024[]
As part of the first restaurant redesign for decades called "Forever Young" the logo was redesigned.
On October 26, 2024, the branch was closed due to standard issues, particularly with poor hygiene.
