This logo was first introduced to Ukrainian people when McDonald's opened its first Ukrainian branch in Kyiv on 24 May 1997.

As part of the first restaurant redesign for decades, called 'Forever Young', the logo was redesigned, and in 2016 the Ukrainian McDonald's changed their slogan to "The best inside".
2019–present
In 2019, McDonald's reverted back to their red color that was in the logo since 2014.
