Central was marketed under Singapore Television Twelve for a short while until the parent company of Singapore Television Twelve went under a restructuring and rebranded as Mediacorp.
In 2008, Kids Central and Arts Central became Okto and Arts on Okto respectively and Vasantham Central became a standalone channel called Vasantham. The name remained the same albeit without the Central moniker.
