Mediaset is a media company in Italy with businesses in television and film among others, that make it the predominant Italian privately-owned media company, especially in television. It has interests in other countries, most notably Spain, where Mediaset España is one of the two main commercial TV broadcasters (the other being Atresmedia). As of 2024, the company is owned by MFE - MediaForEurope, itself controlled by Fininvest.
Mediaset's logo represents the head of the Biscione and a flower, both coming from the early logos of Telemilano/Canale 5.
In 2021, Mediaset restructured its operations and renamed to MFE - MediaForEurope. However, Mediaset was consolidated as a subsidiary of MFE.

In 2019, Mediaset planned to restructure as a Dutch-based holding company and as a result, the media division was taken over by a new wholly-owned subsidiary under the Mediaset Italia name. By 2022, after the formation of MFE - MediaForEurope, the subsidiary rebranded to the Mediaset name.
