Gruppo Mediaset (Mediaset Group) is a media company in Italy with businesses in television, film and print, among others, that make it the predominant Italian privately-owned media company, especially in television. It has interests in other countries, most notably Spain, where Mediaset España is one of the two main commercial TV broadcasters (the other being Atresmedia).
Mediaset’s logo (originally Silvio Berlusconi Communications) represents the head of the Biscione and a flower, both coming from the early logos of Telemilano/Canale 5.
