Mega Channel introduced a new logo and a new on-air look on 22 November 1999.
One month short of its 29th anniversary, on 28 October 2018, Mega Channel ceased broadcasting on terrestrial platforms after it failed to pay for a terrestrial licence due to financial difficulties it had been facing for several years; it stopped broadcasting on satellite platforms on 20 November. However, it continued to broadcast on its website.
On February 17, 2020, Mega Channel returns its TV broadcasting.
