On February 2024, DF MAS[1] announced that Mega Media was working on the development and launch of a news channel that would premiere on March 18, 2024. On March 1, 2024, Mega unveiled the first promo of Meganoticias Ahora during Meganoticias Prime.[2]. The channel was launched on March 19, 2024 on streaming platform Mega Go and Claro TV as the first cable provider to carry the channel.
