Melbourne Football Club will briefly rebrand to Narrm Football Club during the AFL Premiership Sir Doug Nicholls Round and AFLW Indigenous Round. Narrm is the name of the traditional First Nations land on which Melbourne lays; meaning 'scrubland' in the local Woi Wurrung language. This is set be a recurring change during the Indigenous Rounds into the future.
