Starting from 2022, Melbourne Football Club is briefly renamed Narrm Football Club during the AFL Premiership Sir Doug Nicholls Round and AFLW Indigenous Round. Narrm is the name of the traditional First Nations land on which Melbourne lays; meaning 'scrubland' in the local Woi Wurrung language.
