Typography:  Helvetica (modified)
Launched:  March 16, 2020

On March 16, 2020 Mercado Libre replaced the usual handshake with an elbow bump, to raise awarness about the COVID-19 pandemic, also using the slogan "Codo a codo, hasta que lo mejor llegue" (in a reference to their regular slogan, "Lo mejor está llegando") in Spanish-speaking countries (in Brazil, the slogan "Juntos. De mãos dadas, ou não", is used instead). The 2013 logo remains in use in physical touchpoints, such as packaging and delivery vehicles. On December 6th, 2021, the handshake logo returned to the brand's digital touchpoints.
