Mervyn's California
1995-2001
Beginning in 1995; the store was rebranded as Mervyn's California in an attempt to refocus on its California roots. The move did little to impact the financial standing of the chain and the name reverted to Mervyn's in 2001
Mervyn's (second era)
2004-2008
Mervyn's filed for bankruptcy in 2008, and all remaining stores were closed by the end of the year.
