  • Hi Don, I have to kindly ask that you stop saying "I did my darndest" when you upload SVGs. While I understand that you work hard on your logos, I do not think "darndest" is a real word and that phrase comes across as particularly cringeworthy. I would appreciate if you please stop saying that, thank you.

    • Hello, Jay. Sorry. Hard to avoid to be honest. Yet what I have meant to state is that I have done all I can. DonDonP1 (talk) 02:09, September 17, 2020 (UTC)

    • I understand, but like I said, "darndest" is not a real word. Again, I know you work hard on your logos, but saying that is meaningless to be honest. I am just trying to help.

Also, since we have using the message walls for two years, you do not need to sign your posts. You only have to do so on the request pages.

      OK, Jay, I understand that.

  • Hello Don, my buddy Lucas Welter needs our help with SVGs. Since he already enlisted my buddy Abid for assistance with the conversion, I thought you and I could help him out too. At that time, I was converting his recreations on Inkscape on my MacBook Air (usually on the Dell OptiPlex 790) and then uploading them here. You could check my contributions for quality check if necessary.

  • Hello Don, I've found out that if you right click on a particular station logo on the website (Fox Television Stations), and then select "Save image as", you'll be able to grab one that is provided by the particular station (i.e. KTVU and WTVT).

BTW I think some of the stations that FTS owns have since ditched the searchlights in favor of the print logo,

Hello, RV. That makes sense to me. Thank you for the insight. Have a fun and safe holiday weekend. DonDonP1 (talk) 08:26, September 5, 2020 (UTC)

Hey, have you know that i now have a Wikipedia Account, can you give some tricks please, because i was new there.
Hello, one of the most challenging tasks of uploading SVG logos is to fill out the copyright information, since many of the content moderators and admins there have a tendency flagging SVG logos as candidates for deletions. I'll see if I could get a hold of my buddy Don for additional tips and tricks. Also the other challenging part of being new in Wikipedia is attention to grammar. The best way to tackle these is to use Grammarly , which I use on my Mac.

Hello Don, my buddy Abid (one of the most productive like yours truly and many others) is new to Wikipedia and I thought could you help us with Wikipedia. Since I have no problem correcting grammar on Wikipedia and ocassionally uploading SVG logos (mostly for computer articles), one of the biggest challenge is what I mentioned on the quoted box.

  • Can you help me with the logos for the CBC Television stations and CBC Hamilton?

P.S. I'd also like some help working on some logos for fictional TV stations over on the Dream Fiction Wiki.

  • Hi Don,

Thank you for all your contributions! Do you know where I can download the Kodak font they used in their 1971 logo with the serifs? All the ones I have been able to find are the newest font they are currently using. I am looking more for their retro/older fonts (1935 - 1971), any of the ones with the serifs.

    Thank you!!

Hello, Joon. You are welcome. I believe it is a Google search away and I am certain. Although, I thought Rockwell is the name of that font. DonDonP1 (talk) 06:15, September 2, 2020 (UTC)

    • Hi Don. Rockwell seems close enough, but it is not exactly the same as the 1971 logo font. Could you possibly guide me where I could download this font with the serifs? All of my Google searches point me to the current font they are using. I cannot find anyone that has the font from the 1971 with the serifs for download. Any assistance would be greatly appreciate!

  • Hello Don, do you have any chance to update the KCPQ logo in its article on Wikipedia? Because I do not want to get in trouble for derivative work and copyright strike by Mvcg66b3r, and I am having trouble uploading current logos for each TV stations because I have to abide by its copyright and derivative work rules.

Hello, RV. I myself do not want to be in jeopardy of a copyright strike, either. DonDonP1 (talk) 03:59, August 12, 2020 (UTC)

    • I agree. Mvcg66b3r tends to not allow us to update logos to the SVG format unless explicitly expressed in Wikimedia Commons.
