Hello, Kieran. Based on my conversation with MetroPortlandGeek, the suspicious accounts that were later blocked by SOAP were in fact Nate Spidgewood's. My belief was (sic) "I initially thought" that Ian was falsely accused by Nate disguised as a suspicious account even though Ian did nothing wrong despite accusations of inappropriate behaviour on his edit summaries. If that's the case, he may be banned for the meantime.
BTW as for DreamFan and his sockpuppet antics, WXDS and Bartosz were both asking me when will SOAP handle DreamFan's atrocities.
Hey, Raf. I did notice that Ian was using some abusive language in their edit summaries, which itself is against policy. I blocked them for a limited time; based on what I found. Then NYC101 set the block to go on indefinitely. I think you should bring this up with him, as well as the DreamFan issue.
Understood. Based on my research on the edit history of the articles that Ian was doing, he tends to engage in edit wars with Nate and his sockpuppet accounts, often exchanging rubbish-talk at each other on edit summaries. Also, I did got a hold of SOAP, and Yuusuke Takazaki (a SOAP member) may be willing handle the case involving DreamFan. And as for Ian, I witnessed TPercival demoting him (whom at the time was an admin at Company Bumpers Wiki), and then banned him indefinitely, just like what happened to Tmanokc two years ago before I joined here.
I seen another user on here completely edited out the talk of the name change and logo, saying it should only be down when the logo and name have been announced.
But yet, Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben's, etc. that have fell under scrutinity have those edits in place, where the name and logo are being retired at some point this year into early next year or the name/logo are under review at this time.
That's good. The team name is going to change sometime this year, and I think it will be before the season, as ESPN has said 2019 will be the last time they took the field as the Redskins. It's sad to see the end of an era for the once proud franchise.
I think that the page Logopedia:Theme/Logos with characters needs to be protected at sysop-level temporally because the user who threatens and edit warring (cross-wiki) is using autoconfirmed sockpuppets
the Viacom International Media Networks category was renamed and the old category is still here with all pages in the category moved to the new name. If can delete this category and keep the new one I would appreciate that. Thanks from
There was a upload of a "supposed" logo for 20th Century Studios, however me and other users have doubts about its legitimacy, do you feel the same way?, when I looked at the upload it has white borders.
I won't judge the logo by its shoddy clipping, but I think it looks illegitimate. The fonts for 'CENTURY' and 'STUDIOS' don't match up. Although, they did do a good job recreating the shadows. Decent mockup, but official logo this is not.
