The phase-out of the Metro Express brand in Colombia began in 2019 when the location in Pasto was rebranded to a regular Metro supermarket (which subsequently closed its doors). In 2021, all Metro Express stores in Bogotá were rebranded as Spid35 (now Spid).
Metro Express Cabecera[]

The store in Bucaramanga was renamed to Metro Express Cabecera in 2019.
2022-present[]
The background was changed to red, and the font of the "Express" text was slightly modified. As of 2023, this is the only store in Colombia that still uses the Metro Express name to this day.
