This logo was used as their transitional logo, changing their color from "Nokia Blue" to purple (similar to Microsoft Band's logo) and changed its font to Segoe UI. It was commonly used on the brand's social media accounts.

In October 2017, the line was discontinued due to declining sales. In 2019, Microsoft returned to the mobile business by unveiling their new mobile devices under the Surface brand as Surface Duo (which was released the following year), using the Android operating system over Windows 10 Mobile.
