With the rise of Office 2013, the logo was changed to match the new modern design language. This logo was originally revealed in June 2012. The word ¨Microsoft¨ is removed from the logo but it is still known as Microsoft Office. This is used on future Office releases from this period on. Also, if you look closer, it actually reveals an O instead of just a box, just like what [[Bing]] has: an abstract lowercase B.
