The Indonesian television program "Mikrofon Pelunas Utang" aired for the last time on Indosiar on April 25, 2018. This created a franchise spread worldwide and launched a Malaysian version namely "Mikrofon Impian" (Dream Microphone in Malay) which premiered on Astro Ria (Channel 104) and Astro Ria HD (Channel 123). The concept is of the singer's own challenge and choosing the microphone number so the winner can get cash and trophies.
