The candidacy logo was unveiled on 27 November 2018, during Milan-Cortina 2026's presentation at the XXIII ANOC General Assembly in Tokyo, Japan. The logo is a stylisation of the Milan Cathedral with a façade morphing into a mountain, echoing the Alps and the Dolomites. The green, white and red spires represent the Italian flag, with the design asserted to show the unity between Milan and Cortina.
2019–2021[]
After winning the hosting rights over Stockholm/Åre, the Candidate City identifier was removed. The logo remained as their interim logo until the event logo unveiling in March 2021.

In a first for the games, the event emblems were decided by public opinion through an online poll.[1] The two designs premiered during the last night of the 2021 Sanremo Music Festival, respectively titled 'Logo Futura' and 'Logo Dado'. The public vote closed on 25 March 2021, amassing 871,566 votes from 169 countries.
Both logos are stylised 26s, with two distinct approaches. Dado aimed to engage fans, making them feel like part of the games.[2] The logo was accompanied and adorned with icons of winter sports items and motifs, which would appear on and shift around the block surface of the logo.
Futura was appointed the event emblem on 30 March, after winning the ballot by three quarters of the popular vote.[3] Futura was created around the concept of small gestures having grand impacts.[4] Drawing upon the metaphor of misty glass, the 26 acts as a window to what lies beneath. The single-stroke construction is childlike in nature; natural, spontaneous and simple.
The Paralympic emblem was unveiled on the night of the winner reveal. It shares the structure of the Olympic logo, but coloured to emulate the Aurora over the Dolomites.
